Embodiment Resources

'Embodiment' - of or related to the human body. Humans are always located somewhere and at sometime, and our awareness is profoundly influenced by the fact that we have a body. Ideas about embodiment are relevant to many fields, including religion, science, and philosophy.

These pages are offered as a resource for those researching into embodiment, particularly as it relates to phenomenology, sociology and cognitive neuroscience.

This project is managed by Dr. Adrian Harris. My research is into embodied knowledge in Eco-paganism and my key interests at the moment are Merleau-Ponty, Gendlin, enactivism and extended cognition.
